Had fun during the beta, so definitely getting it. I had planned on taking Friday off to play all weekend, but it looks like just a regular weekend for me.
Also...It appears I need to spend the extra cash on the season pass. *sigh*
Ehhh, it's being made by Sledgehammer. I'm optimistic but I have my doubts. If it were Treyarch, I'd be all over it.
Since they have three different studios working on the game (on a 3 year cycle), I don't understand why each studio isn't just assigned a set time period. They've beat the dead horse of future style games and now that Battlefield has gone back, they finally went back too. Why couldn't Sledgehammer work on future style games, Infinity Ward on modern style games, and Treyarch on past (world war 1 - vietnam) style games? Makes sense to me.
Nope. I did Origin Access though, because you get 10% off as well. I got the $130 version this time. So I got to play early and pay $125 (after tax) plus $5.
Tater I think paid like $138 without Origin Access so you save a wee bit.
Weekends work best for me as I get up at 530am during the week now for work. Only way weekdays would work is if we started by 8pm est at the very latest.
So who's getting it and who will be playing Tuesday/Friday? I wouldn't mind setting up a day every week/few weeks/month where we all meet up like we did with GTA5.
I think this is going to be the first time Battlefield is way more successful than Call of Duty. CoD fans have been clamoring for a WWII (or even further back) shooter since Black Ops. Now Activision has ignored that and gone further into the future, and that left the market wide open for Battlefield to do something like this.
Noted! The one that's currently at the top of my list is the Dell S2716DG. It'll be a bit before I have that kind of cash to drop, so my research will continue in the meantime.
That's a pretty good one. The ROG Swift is pretty good too, but a bit pricier.
