Have a message roll on the server to come here and vote if we have a poll or just post suggestions. Make a Suggestion section in the bf4 section of the forums or just have them post them in the BF4 Discussion section. We could have polls for gametypes, maps and player count. May can get more traffic on the forums as well as the server. Anywho, one way or another we'll have this server taking off. Remember, Rome was't built in the hay....oh wait..Don't count your chickens before they cross the street...that's not right either...rubber baby buggy bumpers. |
I like that idea. I am not digging these game modes where 32 is the cap. That is what makes BF4 special on the PC is the 64 players. |

Well got it working by using the USB microphone trick. Plugged it in and it fired right up. |

I just got off the server and it was being pretty laggy. It was not my connection as I had a 16 ping and was still having problems with lag. Is the BF4 server hosted with the same company as the COD2 server? Any chance they are getting DDOSed again? |

Our BF4 is setup as an Official server which means it's run exactly the way DICE wants. We, as server owners, are only allowed to choose a few minor server settings along with game type and map rotation. We are not allowed to kick, tempban, ban, or move players in any way. The advantage initially is that through the Battlelog match system, our server gets traffic. The plan is to change the server to a ranked type sometime after Christmas. This will then allow us to run the server the way Easy Company wants too, not DICE.
Nightmare and Tater, I'm sure, have more detailed information on this if anyone is interested. Send them a message and I'm sure they would be happy to reply. |
Good to know. Do you guys have a reporting process in mind for when the switch happens? Does BF4 have a demo feature? |

The thing is so dang simple too. It had a fixed firing pin and fired from an open bolt. So the bolt was kept under spring tension and was held back by the trigger mechanism. When you pulled the trigger the bolt was allowed to slam forward and fire the round. Basically its just a gun that works by slam firing. You can pick up a Sten parts kit and build your own semi auto in the US for fairly cheap. Indianapolis ordnance makes a kit that converts the design to a closed bolt which the BATF requires.

I think that is the way I am going to have to go. Unfortunately when I bought this computer off Craigslist it was listed as a bunch of new in box parts. Well the guy ended up putting everything together and used a pirated copy of Windows 7. Of course this was not known until afterwards. Well when the mother board ended up dieing on me back in August I ended up going with a legal copy of windows 8 seeing as that will be the future unfortunately. I have all my old XP stuff but from what I have been reading windows 8 does not dual boot with XP. I would need pro.
I will give the USB mic fix a try and report back. |

Hey guys I used to be a member a few years ago when COD 2 was the main game. I ended up going to the console world for a while and now I am coming back to PC for gaming. Recently I just picked up BF4 so I look forward to playing with you guys again. |

Hey guys I am trying to jump back into COD2 after being gone for a few years. I installed the program no problem and the single player works just fine but, anytime I try and run the multi player I get an error saying that "COD2 has stopped suddenly" and it closes. Currently I have all the current drivers installed and I am running Windows 8.1. |
